Dean Pelton Wins an Oscar: How Should ‘Community’ Celebrate?
Remember that time that Community‘s Jim Rash won an Academy Award for screenwriting and posed like Angelia Jolie on stage when he accepted it? That was awesome. And completely surreal, considering Community is perpetually overlooked for every major TV award. Can Rash’s Oscar glory help give Community a much-needed ratings boost? Top 5 Classic WB Shows
Once upon a time, there was a TV network called The WB, and it was wonderful and great, and it had a frog in a top hat as its mascot. These were simpler times, better times. Before Jersey Shore, before Pretty Little Liars (no offense), before The Pussycat Dolls Present (yeah, that was a real show you guys), before TV became a cesspool of reality drivel and bed-hopping teens with no moral compasses. The WB may have thrived on shows with bed-hopping teens, but at least their teens had heart, and occasionally made you feel something other than disgust for them. Okay, this has taken a turn from “nostalgia” into “rant,” so I’m just going to get to the point. The WB was a great network, and it brought us some truly amazing shows. In honor of Top 5 Tuesday, I present to you, our top 5 classic WB shows…

‘FRINGE’ Photo Recap: “The End of All Things”
Fringe is charging full-speed towards the season’s end, which means tons of teasing tidbits of backstory, high-stakes confrontations, emotional gut-punches, and dynamic fisticuffs. So why do I still feel so empty inside? Probably because this episode had a lot of Nina Sharp, and also Peter’s dream-walk down memory lane with September was more than a little soul-crushing (in a good way). I hope you’re up on your Princess Bride, Star Wars, and Say Anything references, because this week’s recap is chock full of ‘em. (Sorry if I got a little carried away.)
Let’s hope this doesn’t happen
The Academy Awards is tonight and it is a tight race for the coveted Best Actress statuette. Although I think all of the nominees are talented women, I am a life-long member of the ‘Meryl Streep needs to win another Oscar’ Club so I will be rooting for Ms. Streep. If she doesn’t win, this will most likely be my reaction.
