Film Friday: Three Ninjas

The ’90s martial arts theme continues this week with Three Ninjas (1992).

The film is a cross between Karate Kid and Home Alone. It tells the story of three brothers who are trained in Ninjutsu by their Japanese grandfather Mori Tanaka (played by Victor Wong). Life becomes complicated when Hugo Snyder, the leader of an organized crime ring, visits his former master, Tanaka, and tells him to stop his FBI son-in-law’s quest to capture him. See, all the characters are connected. Snyder then hires three surfer wannabes to kidnap the boys, but the brothers use their Ninja skills to fight their kidnappers and help their grandfather take down Hugo Snyder.

Grab your Gi and learn Ninjutsu with Rocky, Colt, and Tum Tum.
