You Should Really Read ‘Skylark’ by Meagan Spooner
This debut from Meagan Spooner will completely suck you in. Skylark is a story of hope, survival, freedom, and what it means to be human. It’s a fast-paced read, never dragging on or feeling slow—it just goes and goes and goes. The story has enough surprises to keep even the most easily bored reader engrossed. What I loved most about Skylark was that it makes you think. Not in a painful, frustrating Proustian way, but in a subtly thought-provoking way. Skylark asks questions about morality, humanity, personal autonomy, and other issues without demanding any answers. It’s really a fun, exciting, unique story that anyone who likes ya fantasy or dystopian series will enjoy.
