His “Writer” bulletproof vest saved him!! We all laughed and thought it was cute, but now, we are thanking our lucky stars Castle got that vest. In fact, he should probably continue wearing it every time he leaves the house because he’s been having a rough couple of weeks. First, he gets poisoned and then he gets shot. Ouch! Any other girlfriend would probably wrap him in bubble wrap, but Beckett lets him walk into danger. She admires his courage and desire to help others, even when his number fan comes off as SUPER crazy. She was not Misery-crazy but still erratic AND with a gun. One bright side to the incident is that Castle found out his fans honor grammar rules. Never forget to dot the “i” folks.
Ouch! Beckett has been fired. She lost her job but perhaps it was for the best with the government shutdown going on. Plus, she knows she can always return to the NYPD so her career is not ruined. It’s definitely a setback professionally but now, she will be in the same city her future husband is in. hehehe Husband. It’s still weird to imagine Castle being referred to as ‘husband.’ Watch out NYC! Caskett is back in town!!!!

Tell us what you will be watching in the comments section.
Remember that time Castle channeled his inner Paula Dean and created a brand new breakfast meal, combining eggs, graham crackers, marshmallows, and chocolate? He called it a “smorelette” and neither Alexis nor Martha were fans of the new concoction. Fortunately for you, you don’t have to try it, but you can make your very own “smorelette” charm with this How To video made by Emma.
How are you holding up Caskett fans?
SPOILER ALERT: If you have not seen the season 5 finale, stop reading right now!!!
MAN OH MAN! I hope Beckett gives a resounding “YES” to Castle. I mean, how could she not? In 5×21, she asked him where their relationship was going and now she knows. She gave him a drawer so she obviously loves him and wants to commit. Perhaps, it’s the frustrated shipper in me but why is the job such a deal breaker for Beckett? People can have successful long distance relationships, and Castle can move to DC. I’m sure there are plenty writers that live in Washington DC and write their novels there. Sure, the city is humid in the summer but it’s not like the weather depletes the population of creativity. What’s the big obstacle, guys?! Sorry, I had to vent. Let’s hope I’m riled up for nothing, and in a few months, we can start planning a wedding.
Castle better hurry up and put a ring on Kate’s finger, otherwise, she may be packing her bags and moving to DC. It is disheartening to see the couple forced to weather another crisis, but this situation is a million times better than the stuff they’ve had to face in past. Remember that time Beckett got shot and almost died? Yeah, I think a long distance relationship is a road bump compared to that Mount Everest. The job in DC is a great opportunity for Beckett to advance her career and I don’t see any reason why Castle couldn’t move with her, however, this is TV. Season finales are NEVER supposed to be that logical. Whatever happens, I have faith that these two will work it out.
It’s montages galore! What if you collected all of the Castle gifs on Tumblr and and edited them together? You would produce this week’s episode. In “Still,” Beckett accidentally triggers a bomb and is forced to stand still until it can be deactivated. Castle remains by her side and lightens the dismal mood by conjuring a petty fight of who fell in love with the other person first. It provided some cute banter and set the stage for a retrospective episode. Here’s a clip from one of my favorite montages:
Castle in the car providing his own theme music
“It’s the guy from ‘Ringer’!!” His name is actually Ioan Gruffodd but I don’t know how to pronounce it so I call him “Ringer Guy” after the short lived show on the CW starring Sarah Michelle Gellar. His role in this week’s episode strangely felt like he was still playing Andrew Martin- a rich, handsome businessman. Same suits. Same hair. Just no SMG. That’s okay. Jealous Castle made up for it.
