The Return of the Dragon Slayer: Remember These Coach Quotes?
Tonight marks the premiere of Survivor‘s 23rd season, and the return of one of the most memorable contestants in the show’s history. That’s right, folks: the Dragon Slayer is back! To celebrate Coach’s triumphant return to the game, let’s reflect on some of his more profound quotes from his time on Survivor…
“Be the wizard, Stephen. Be the wizard.”
“I know who I am. Unshakable. Unbreakable. Invincible like a sword.”
(On his Tae Kwon Do-esque morning exercise routine:) “It’s called Chong Ran and it’s an ancient Tibetan art. If you do a Google search on it, you won’t find it. You have to go to the monastery to study it.”
“Brendan’s the dragon. I’m the Dragon Slayer. This is going to be the biggest power move to date of this game, no question about it.”
“Sierra is the bowel movements that comes out of the dragon.”
“The Dragon Slayer has to wait another day to taste blood.”
“[Tyson is] one of a kind. That what probably attracts me to him most…not in a sexual way.”
Jeff: “It’s time to get to the vote.” Coach: “One more thing.” Jeff: “Yes?” Coach: “I wrote a poem for everyone to hear.”
“I can’t exist with such people. I know you can. You can socialize with them. But I am just so…TRUE. I just can’t exist around such people.”
“I made eye contact with everyone and instructed them on what to take with my eyes.”
Lastly, here’s a short video of some of Coach’s best moments, to get you even more excited for tonight’s premiere (which, I should mention, also features returning favorite Ozzy Lusth). Don’t miss Survivor: South Pacific tonight at 8 on CBS.
