Still Suffering from ‘Fringe’ Withdrawal? Give ‘Zero Hour’ a Try

Zero Hour

Okay, so nothing will ever be able to replace Fringe. I think most of us have come to terms with that. (Though, if you’re still in the blissful denial stage, then congratulations!) But all we can do is just try to go on with our lives, which, for me means finding new shows to watch.

My newest potential obsession is ABC’s conspiracy drama Zero Hour, starring ER vet Anthony Edwards. I first became interested in Zero Hour when I heard that Scott Michael Foster was cast, and after watching the pilot, I’m happy to report that he still has the same shaggy charm and sense of humor that he brought to Greek. Then, when ABC announced that Zero Hour would air on Thursdays at 8, I knew I was going to fall in love with this show. Why, you ask? Because I’ve gotten sucked into every show ABC has tried to air on Thursdays at 8 within the last two years. FlashForward, The Deep End, My Generation, Last Resort…I watched them all. And then I watched them get axed. So you can see why I’m conflicted about getting invested in this new drama, which I will undoubtedly be mourning the demise of within the next two to three months. Until that time comes, I urge you to give it a chance. Zero Hour has a lot to offer: Mystery, suspense, humor, romance, World War II flashbacks, Scott Michael Foster’s hair… How can you say no to that?

Tune in to Zero Hour on Thursday at 8 on ABC and see what I’m talking about. Then please tweet me so I have someone to talk about it with.
